Like in many other countries in south eastern Europe, it is not possible at the moment for foreigners to get a mortgage to purchase property in Croatia as banks do only lend money to locals with an income in the country.
Getting a mortgage from a British bank in the UK to buy property in Croatia could also be a problem but is definitely not impossible. Once the mortgage problem is solved you can look forward to your new home on the coast, in the city or the mountains of Croatia. |
